Sheboygan, WI - According to the criminal complaint, a 27-year-old man who was arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash resulting in death was drunk.
The court papers said that Eddie Carbajal-Lile was accused of running a stop sign Tuesday night, August 14, in the town of Lima and hitting a car with three teenagers inside killing Paul Watry, 17, of Port Washington. Eddie Carbajal-Lile was in this country illegally.
The criminal complaint filed Thursday night and released Friday quoted a friend of the defendant as saying that Carbajal-Lile had consumed five or six beers before he started driving.
Eddie Carbajal-Lile was charged in Sheboygan County Circuit Court with hit and run resulting in death, which is a felony charge.
